This list is posted here because the West Virginia Department of Forestry does not post it. However, they do publish the list in booklet form, West Virginia Big Tree Register. Their web site is at http://www.wvforestry.com. Most of the information contained here is taken directly from their publication. A few things are gained from other sources. Their latest update is 2004.
